I'm usually more of rainy day kind of gal but I'd rather have a drought right now so that our grass would not grow even one centimeter more! Die grass, die!
I don't mind lawn work so long as I don't have to do it when the temperature outside is 692 degrees. Weeds are taking over our front rock garden, but I'm not going out to work on them and have a heat sroke in the process.

And by heat sroke, I mean heat stroke.
I prefer to refer to our combination of grass, rocks and weeds as "a meadow" or, when I'm feeling particularly poetic, "a lea."
That makes me feel better.
